Avec pr\u00e8s de 5 millions d&#8217;hectares, le <strong>ch\u00eane<\/strong> est l&#8217;essence la plus repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e. On les retrouve \u00e9galement en plaine dans les r\u00e9gions \u00e0 sols pauvres (les Landes, la Bretagne m\u00e9ridionale, la Sologne et en Champagne).<\/p>\n<p>Les peuplements de r\u00e9sineux couvrent <strong>4.4 millions d\u2019hectares<\/strong> de for\u00eats en France. Le pin (maritime et sylvestre) est majoritairement repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 et occupe plus de 45%.
